A Few Beliefs I've Let Go Of As a Millennial

A Few Beliefs I’ve Let Go Of(There's More)

A quiet reflection on what no longer fits.

If you are new to my newsletters, then I humbly thank you for joining me. You will now be privy to first drafts of my writings, exclusive videos, merch and more.

Hi lovely,

As a millennial, I was given a blueprint. Own a home. Have kids. Hustle hard. Stay quiet. Pick one religion and never stray.

But life invites us to grow beyond the scripts we were handed.

Here are three beliefs I’ve personally outgrown:

  • Owning a home = success? Not always. For me, peace > property.
  • Birth children or bust? I've always leaned toward adoption—and that’s just as valid.
  • Hard work = riches? No. Sometimes, hard work just keeps the lights on.

This isn’t a rebellion. It’s a gentle release. In the full piece, I reflect on what I’ve left behind and what I'm walking toward.

Can you think of anything you no longer believe in?

I'd love to hear!
